Also, you need to setup directory syncronization rights for the admin account you are using (as pointed out in “Connection Settings” description test on step 6) You can use the TechNet article to guide you on how to do that. The TechNet article is for SP2013, but I’ve found it to work with SP 2010 as well.

    I followed all these steppes but when I went to start the User Profile Service Application I found the Account Name field it has a different account called Network Service and I tried to change it to sp_farm but I couldn’t so please if u have any advise in that regard would be greate thanks

  5. I have done exactly what you said but after start full synchronization number if user profile still 0.
    Note I am using SharePoint 2013
